The covers main feature is a bowl of ramen that includes a hard boiled egg, some type of meat, and a variety of different toppings. It all placed in a white bowl and have some metal chopsticks placed on the side of the bowl. The time is featured on the top in black. on top of the title in smaller font they say "Ramen!Oysters!Donuts!" in pink, green, and orange. This is want the issue is focused on and is bright to stand out. Also under the title in blue and black they have the title of an article called "How to devour Americas best food cities". The whole background is white, which makes the bright colors and food stand out more. The pictures throughout the magazine consist of food pictures related to the top line on the cover, and Americas best food cities (which include towns and/or the states and the food eaten there). I have chosen to do the magazine project this year. I believe this would be the best fit for me because I like the idea of being able to create a cover and be make articles on my topic. I'm better at designing documents than editing and filming videos. My main determining factor was that I am not interested in the film project at all and the idea of the magazine sounded really fun. I want to create a food magazine based on a certain region. In my group we would each chose a region or culture to create an issue on. Like american or Italian. Each group member then would create the whole magazine around food from that area and talk about key parts of different foods and different ways to eat. My group members each have unique skills that will benefit our projects as a whole. 

The film project interests me because it allows for a lot of creativity and you could go in many different ways when making a film. You can create a unique film with any type of genre. While watching the other examples I was interested on how creative you really can be with it.we learned about how movies are filmed and how much work it actual is to film and edit them. The film would be a good fit because I like editing videos together and working on how to make it look good. The film may be a challenge for me because i have little training with writing scripts and actually filming scenes for the project.

The magazine project interests me because its a creative way of expressing information and news. The ability to create the covers and design the layout is what most interests me. While watching the TV show the "Newsroom", I was able to see how a gossip columnist finds her information and how a news company works. Being able to analyze the magazines also allowed me to get an idea of how certain magazines are layed out and how creative you really can be while making them. I'm good at organizing information  and designing stuff on computers. Also the magazine would be a good fit for me because I love being able to be creative. Also taking pictures is really easy and fun to me. But the things I would struggle with the most would be finding ideas to write about, the topics and places. Also finding ideas for the pictures themselves could be a struggle.
