3rd Quarter Submission
For
my revision deals with my two-paged article. My first version didn't have
enough text and I needed to fit my pictures. So, When I went back to fix it, I used
Adobe InDesign instead of Publisher. I fixed my body text and even added a
quote from the owner that was off their website. Also, I made the title bigger
and added a dominate photo underneath. On the second page, I fixed my other
pictures and text to fit around them. It looks more professional and put
together and I made sure to fill in all the extra white space I had without
making the text itself look too big. Also added branding and page numbers to
the bottom pages. Overall, I'm happy with the changes I made. On my
table of contents, I didn't change much. I added branding and the page number
to the bottom corner. As a group we finalized the fonts we would be using, so I
changed the font on the "contents" to one I had on my cover. I
slightly rearranged the article titles to be move even but over all I'm happy with
what I created. For my 3rd revision I changed my cover. So, the picture I
originally had turned out very blurry and distorted. Also, it had an American
flag, and when I got feedback, didn't fit well with the theme of my issue. So, I
re shot my cover photo. I used the same model but changed location and added a
touch of a coffee in her hand. I had to use photos shop to get rid of a giant
water spill on the ground but couldn't completely remove it. I also
changed the title font and sizing to be uniform with the other people in my
group. I spaced it differently too to fill space. I moved the words
"Italian issue" to the bottom to make it more prominent. I moved my
text boxes and article titles to fit around the door frame of my picture.
Overall, I'm happy with the changes I made.
